Some people leave their home, hearth and birthplace for search of better jobs, better opportunities, yet some people just leave it for petty reasons, while others for a very lofty purpose. This poem by Nishi is a reflection of today’s situation and society and compares it to another situation where Gautam Buddha left home, outwardly both seemed similar yet the height and intensity was totally different, the first depicted a guy who went away with a girl leaving behind old parents, while other scenario where the husband leaves behind the family but for a far superior cause
Kitna mushkil hai ghar chod ke jana
Ki yahan se door bhi kabhi hota hai thikana
Log chod dete hain ghar ek pal mein apne matlab ko yaar
Zara bhi nahi sochte kya hoga unka jo unse karte hain pyar
Bus ik pal mein le jati hai wo jo abhi kal hi ayee hai
Unka kya jinki ankhon mein umar bhar ki umeed samayee hai
Burai nahi hai koi unke bhi sath jane ko zafar
Lekin pahle haque to ada karo fir karo apna safar
Is mitti ko kaise mein chod jayoonga
Ki kahin bhi jake sukoon mein na payoonga
Shayed hote hain wo kisi alag hi nasal in insaan
Jinka nahi koi mazhab na hota hai koi imaan
Apni janam bhoomi ko kyun mein chodun tere liye
Kyun apno se mukh modun hothon ko siye
Ik baar to socha bhi nahi karne se pahle haan
Kya kabhi mil sakti hai palkon se door bhi chaanv
Lekin wo bole ik wo bhi to they jo sab chhod gaye
Piche dekha bhi na ki kawn se they wo mod naye
Gautam se Buddha bane, sab duniya ko dikhaya marg sahi
Maksad that bahut alag chache rasta tha lagbhag wahi
The author does not wish to hurt any religious sentiment but such comparison, rather it is an attempt to show that the higher souls do things from a different perspective, but the common people do similar things following their own selfish visio
