The sufferings that the Earthquake brought

Any explanations Heavens! This isn’t what we sought

Yet why blame nature for it is the karmic law at play

It rewards boundlessly, yet mercilessly it does slay

Despite all destruction, there is one truth that you must remember still

Mother Nature is extremely benevolent; She is never on the kill

It is just that the combined effect of karmas becomes so great

Science may not believe, but you actions do determine your fate

There is a connection between the energies so subtle and sublime

The undercurrents of karma are like an ocean, they are the reason prime

So just awaken o humans, for you are creating your own destiny each day

Unless you ascend to those heights, for your acts only you have to pay
