The Rudraksha is a very powerful bead. It can solve many problems that we face in our daily lives and in our horoscope. However, it is important that the Rudraksha is worn in a certain way to ensure that it gives the maximum benefit to the person who is going to wear it.

1. Rudraksha is a very effective way of improving a person’s mental and emotional energy level. It can help a person to change the way they look at the world around and within. Rudraksha has many advantages. The point is that it must be worn in the right way. If you do not follow the rules of wearing the Rudraksha you will not get the results that you are looking for.
2. The Rudraksha must be worn on a good day. Monday is the most preferred day to wear the Rudraksha as it is the day of Lord Shiva. The Monday falling on Shuklapaksha is the best to wear a Rudraksha. Else you can start wearing it from any day that is connected to Lord Shiva. Wake up early in the morning take a bath. Place a picture of Lord Shiva in the mandir. Decorate the picture with sandal paste and flowers. Seek the blessings of Lord Shiva and start to wear the Rudraksha.
3. Show respect to the Rudraksha, it is considered as a part of Lord Shiva. Dip the Rudraksha in cow’s milk. Wash it with water. Place it in front of the image of Lord Shiva. Apply sandal wood paste on the Rudraksha. Take a diya and incense sticks to worship the Rudraksha before you start to wear it.
4. Ask Lord Shiva to bless the Rudraksha and ensure that it brings good results to you. This procedure of worshiping Lord Shiva and wearing the Rudraksha can be done from time to time. This is again a procedure that you can follow from time to time to ensure that the energy level of the Rudraksha remains in the same state.
7. Chant “Om namah Shivaye” 108 times before you start to wear the Rudraksha. This will ensure that the Rudraksha gets blessed by Lord Shiva. When you wear a Rudraksha regularly try to chant the mantra whenever you get the time.
8. Beej mantra is a must as you wear the Rudraksha. Each of the Rudrakshas have a different beej mantra. As per the faces of the Rudraksha the beej mantra is decided. 31. The beej mantra must be repeated 27 times for each of the faces in the Rudraksha. For example if the Rudraksha has 4 faces then you repeat the beej mantra 27 times for each face, 4 faces multiplied by 27 is 108. So as the number of beads change repeat the mantra accordingly. This proceeedure must be followed once when you wear the Rudraksha for the first time. Before you wear  it pray to Lord Shiva and ask for his blessings.
