Ashta means eight and the term Ashtavinayak Temple here actually means total 8 different temples all dedicated to Lord Sri Ganesha, the Vighanharta. Although there are several temples of Mangalmurti, still these 8 are all located within the State of Maharashtra in India. This post gives a brief description of these temples, a map and a suggested route which can be used to cover all these places in a single visit extending to 3 days.
